"THE CHASE" IS ON IN THIS 1994 ACTION COMEDY WITH CHARLIE SHEEN & KIRSTY SWANSON - THE HORROR!!

Kirsty Swanson, the horror! Here's one that has SO much potential yet does very little with it. Highlights are Henry Rollins as the cop conducting the "chase" with a news crew in his back seat. As would be expected, the flick also has a few awesome stunts. Other than that, pretty dull and it's a miss. Pinewood Ratings System - One Embarrassing Pinewood....The Horror!!

The Chase Movie Review & Film Summary (1994) | Roger Ebert

"The Chase," a movie named with unerring accuracy, takes place mostly in a car on a California expressway, where love blooms during a high-speed police pursuit. Once you grasp that premise, you know where the movie's going and more or less everything that is going to happen in it, so the surprise is that "The Chase" does such a good job within its limited range.

UNDERRATED: The Chase (1994)

The Chase (USA, 1994) Directed by Adam Rifkin Starring Charlie Sheen, Kirsty Swanson, Rocky Carroll, Henry Rollins In this celebrity-driven world, what happens to actors off-screen is often deemed just as important as their work on-screen - sometimes it is even deemed to be more important.

Greetings all, here comes a nice 2-lp vinyl boot circa Hollywood swap meets 1980, it's an early version of the heavily traded Passaic NJ show in front of a crowd of less than 500, The show itself is great in any presentation but this vinyl does the trick for me, see what YOU think.....The Horror!! 7daylink Vinyl rip courtesy of Ed's Attic....The Horror!!
"On June 14, the Stones played the Capitol Theatre in Passaic, New Jersey, where the marquee deceptively stated, “Closed for Repairs.” Tickets for the concert were sold without warning at a handful of record stores and head shops. (An announcement suddenly came over the stores’ PA systems: tickets for the Stones are on sale now.”

"BLACKBEARD'S GHOST" IS HERE, RUN FOR YOUR LIVES! - 1968 DISNEY PIRATE FANTASY IS REALLY THE HORROR

If this ole Disney flick was half as fun as the poster suggests, then we might have had a classic but instead we have a slopped together mish-mosh. Not even Dean Jones, Suzanne Pleshette & Peter Ustinov collectively can save this one. A few good moments here and there but otherwise pass, Pinewoods Rating System, giving this one a disappointing One & 1/2 Pinewood.....The Horror!!

Blackbeard's Ghost Movie Review (1968) | Roger Ebert

Most parents approach children's movies the way they approach castor oil: They take a big swallow and smile broadly, to set an example for the kids. But the kids are nobody's fools, and they know castor oil is nothing to smile about. You don't take because it tastes good, but because it's good for you.

Blackbeard's Ghost (1968) - Review

When one thinks of pirates today the Disney Pirates of the Caribbean movies readily leap to mind, and that swashbuckling viewpoint on piracy is certainly nothing new; from Errol Flynn's Captain Blood to Johnny Depp's Jack Sparrow Hollywood has glamorized the pirate life, and today we will look back at a film that took light-hearted pirate antics to a whole new level with Disney's Blackbeard's Ghost.
