CLASSIC BLACK SABBATH VINYL BOOT! - THE HORROR KNOWN AS "RAT SALAD" - EARLY 1970 BERLIN SHOW

Greetings folks - A French vinyl boot put out in 1990, the show itself is the first known Sabbath boot of any kind, an early show that includes the infamous pre-album version of War Pigs with slightly different lyrics. I've posted this a couple times in the last 5 years and it's always very popular...

T-BONE BURNETT 1987! - REVISITING THE HORROR KNOWN AS "THE TALKING ANIMALS" - SHEER HORROR

This diverse set of 10 songs for the Columbia label in '87 screams to be overlooked and that's where it wound up on most people's screens. A classic receiver of mixed reviews if there ever was one. So, how bout the songs?  Same thing, some good, some bad, but mostly good, standout songs are Killer Moon, Monkey Dance and the Tonio K penned You Could Look It Up. Yay or nay, you be the judge....The Horror!!
The Talking Animals is a return to the mainstream attempts of the Warner discs, and features creative input by such folks as Bono and Tonio K. Some of the songs rock tougher than anything he's done before (see "Monkey Dance" and "You Could Look It Up"); others succeed only in scaling new heights of pretension. Sung in four languages, "Image" could be a Brecht castoff, while "The Strange Case of Frank Cash and the Morning Paper" is a tedious five-minute spoken-word tale. Skip instead to "The Killer Moon," a mid-period Beatles soundalike, and the aptly titled "Relentless." All in all, worth hearing, though one wishes this talented jerk weren't so impressed with himself. - TrouserPress review
