JILL CLAYBURGH IS OUT ON THE AVENUE "HUSTLING" IN THIS OBSCURE 1975 TV MOVIE - THE HORROR!

Jill Clayburgh gives one of the best performances of her career as a sassy and slightly forlorn prostitute. Never even heard about this one before so kudos to the You Tube robots for that! This one scores high in almost every regard. Lee Remick shares top bill with Clayburgh as a reporter who lands up making friends but make no mistake, this is Clayburgh's film from her first frame. Awesome locations and you want classic 70's casting? How bout Alex Rocco, Burt Young, Paul Benedict (from Jefferson's fame) John Sylvester White (principal on Welcome Back Kotter) just to name a few. This one deserves to be on top 10 TV movies of all time....The Horror!! Pinewoods Rating System - Four Pinewoods

Hustling (1975)

Based on a nonfiction book by Gail Sheehy, who interviewed and spent time with a group of real New York City hookers, the solidly assembled telefilm Hustling offers a sober look at the world of prostitution. The movie focuses on a Sheehy stand-in, sophisticated journalist Fran Morrison (Lee Remick).
