One of my very favorite John Hurt performances - Sir John plays a wise-cracking casino manager more than a little obsessed with bringing money into the place in this critically acclaimed Canadian film based on a true story. Phillip Hoffman plays a gambling addict who keeps filching money from his bank where he's an account manager to feed his habit.
