ROD STEWART & THE FACES 1973! - THE HORROR KNOWN AS "OVERTURES & BEGINNERS" MEGA-POST

On the afternoon of the Anaheim show this album was recorded at, my mom got a call from a publisher friend who had 4 4th-row front tickets for The Faces concert that night he couldn't use and would her 11 year old son and 12 year old friend like to go to the show? To say it was an impressionable show is an understatement. I have some great concert stories and was blessed to have been at some cool shows but this one was the beginning of my rock n roll education. Long out-of-print and hard to find, it was only printed on CD once in the early 90's and they go for about 600 clams if you can find an unwrapped one. As part of the mini-Rod Stewart tribute, I offer this mega-post with>>>The Horror!! 7daylink

Rod Stewart & The Faces Coast To Coast 1973

Coast to Coast: Overture and Beginners is a live album recorded in California in October 1973 by Rod Stewart and the Faces. I have seen plenty of scathing reviews for this album over the years but I really like its sloppy charm.

THE HORROR!!
