8 Amusement Parks That Died Surreal And Bizarre Deaths

There's not much middle ground when it comes to theme parks -- either you operate a magical and amazing facility that children will stab each other to get a ticket for, or you wind up with a sad, rusted-out Christmas Wonderland where Santa is a drunk and the reindeer are goats.

Roger Waters kicks off "Us + Them Tour" in Kansas City: Video + Setlist

Roger Waters kicked off his latest tour, "Us + Them", in Kansas City, Missouri on Friday night. The 24-song set was the same as the one he previewed at a rehearsal in New Jersey last week, kicking off with a barrage of Pink Floyd classics including "Breathe", "One Of These Days", "Time", and "The Great Gig in the Sky".

BARBARA BACH IS A REPORTER TRAPPED INSIDE A HOUSE WITH "THE UNSEEN"!! - 1980 SHEER HORROR!

Oh my, the You Tube robots have done it again- washing up on my shore as a "recommendation" (just what exactly are they trying to say?) I knew about 5 minutes into this one it was a B-flick of unique caliber, perfect for THOH.

ALL MUST BEWARE THE "NIGHT OF THE COMET"! - 1984 B-FLICK COMBINES SCI FI COMEDY ZOMBIES & HORROR!!

Here's one that carves it's own niche rather nicely with parts horror, sci fi, comedy and zombie flick. The only problem being that for all that ingenuity, the film drags in quite a few scenes with shallow dialog. As you may know, this ain't no editorial type blog, so you can read some real reviews below. I would like to give this one One & 1/2 Pinewoods, but the opacity of the whole 80's vibe is so strong in all the right ways that I'm adding a half of a Pinewood for a total of Two Pinewoods....The Horror!!

I am a child of the 80s. To this day I love the music and the huge hair styles. Not such a fan of the clothes from the period, but the fond nostalgia remains. Imagine my glee, then, when I discovered Night of the Comet in the horror section of the local Best Buy.

Night of the Comet (Thom Eberhardt, 1984)

This movie is totally awesome! I know, it's a hackneyed idiom that has been used to extol cinematic shapes and colours for like, a quarter of a century or something, but it's the only sensible way I can think of to describe this flick.

THE SHEER HORROR!!
